First calf of 2007

Our neighbor, Jamie, who watches the cows when we are not at the farm, called and said we had a new baby calf this morning. So after work we went up to see it. I love baby animals. Too bad the weather turned cold, poor little thing had a rude entry into this world, all warm and comfy one minute and boom, cold and bright sunlight the next! Anyway, after checking out the calf, we went in to town for dinner with friends up there and had a drink to celebrate the beginning of the calves being born for 2007!
