I thought we were done with snow???

Oh my, St. Patrick's Day is supposed to be when you plant potatoes, or so Farmer Jim says. But this year we had snow falling, it was beautiful but depressing. Spring has been teasing us with a few warm days here and there. We thought this winter was on the way out, but it snuck in on us again. We left the farm about noon to attend a family dinner back home, but we hear they got over an inch of snow. That is NUTS!!!
So today we had a nice meal with family. Every year a sister in law has 4 of her favorite siblings and spouses over for St. Pat's Dinner. She makes an awesome corned beef and cabbage meal. We toally enjoyed eating and visiting, the dessert I took up is a favorite, Cream Puff Cake. So it's mostly gone and we all have full tummys and a good supply of family talk and fun.
The past two weekends we have had to come home early from the farm, it seems life here is getting too hectic, hopefully as the weather improves, we'll have longer weekends down on the farm!
